# How to send a client an estimate for one room or some items only

Clients often need an estimate not for the whole project but for a specific room or a list of items — for example, to approve the first phase or a single space. ArchiBoard lets you export exactly the data you want to show and hide the studio's internal figures.

1. **Select the items you need.** If you want to export only some items rather than the whole estimate, tick them in the list.
2. **Open the export.** Open «Estimates» and click «Export to PDF» or «Export to Excel», depending on the format the client needs.
3. **Choose rooms or items.** In «Rooms», choose the rooms you need or leave «Whole estimate». If you ticked items, turn on «Selected items only».
4. **Set up what is visible.** Turn product prices and photos on or off. If needed, add alternatives — they appear below the main items marked «Alternative option».
5. **Download the document.** Click «Download PDF» or «Download Excel». The file is ready to send to the client.

- The studio's internal data (purchase prices, markup, profit) never appears in the client PDF. In Excel it is exported to a separate sheet.
- If the estimate has alternatives, the document ends with two totals: the base one and one including the alternatives.
- Your studio logo is taken from «Profile Settings» automatically — check it in advance.
