Toni Frissell was an American photographer known for her fashion photography, World War II documentation, and portraiture. Distinguished by her preference for outdoor settings over traditional studio environments, she created images celebrated for their natural energy, spontaneity, and authenticity. This photograph captures a group of skiers gathered outside a mountain lodge in the early to mid-20th century. Using natural light and an elevated perspective, Frissell highlights both the grandeur of the alpine landscape and the lively social atmosphere of the ski scene. Reproduced as a museum-quality giclée print and presented in a hand-assembled wood frame, this piece offers exceptional detail and a refined, gallery-ready finish that brings Frissells timeless photography into the home.
