The Boby storage trolley, designed by Joe Colombo for B-Line, is one of the most iconic expressions of Italian design from the second half of the twentieth century. Created in 1970, it was conceived as a functional system for organising space with a clear, immediate and recognisable formal language.Boby stands out for its strong versatility. Designed for vertical modularity, it allows customised storage capacities through flexible configurations. Compact volumes accommodate drawers and storage compartments conceived for dynamic use, making the trolley suitable for domestic settings, professional studios and creative environments. The structure and drawers are made of injection-moulded ABS, ensuring durability, lightness and ease of maintenance, while the polypropylene castors provide smooth mobility and stability during use.Conceived as a practical working tool, Boby integrates naturally into contemporary interiors, offices, laboratories and living spaces, while preserving the original strength of its design concept.
