Soft Body V - Rhythm is part of the Inner Geographies series, a collection that explores the relationship between body, surface and time through textiles and concrete. In this work, rhythm takes centre stage and structures the whole composition. The fabric is organised in a continuous sequence of bands that alternate densities, tensions and colour variations, generating a constant and sustained pulse. Here the rhythm is not diluted: it asserts itself and directs the gaze along the surface. The opening at the bottom prolongs this movement, reinforcing a more active and physical observation of the textile.
